Deputy Sheriff

The Nuckolls County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a full time Deputy Sheriff. Preferable a Nebraska certified law enforcement officer, but all applications will be considered. The application process will involve submitting an employment application, resume, background investigation, and interview. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, be of good moral character and be in good physical condition. Uncertified applicants must be able to meet the minimum standards for entrance into the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center. $51 ,000 + yearly salary for certified officer, competitive benefit package, all uniforms and equipment paid for.
